Officiating: Rev. Helen McFarland.
Music: Selected favorite songs.
Interment: Evergreen Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
Pallbearers: Chad Hoyt, William Paul Fox, James Fox Jr., Harley Fox, Trevin Teacutter and Westley Denny. Honorary pallbearers: Don Ingram, Ray Oden and Don Shiveley.

William H. "Bill" Fox passed away unexpectedly at 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Mexico. Bill attended Vandalia schools and at the age of 18, joined the U. S. Army to serve his country during World War II. He enjoyed tinkering and repairing cars and was a self-taught mechanic. After returning from the service, he worked for many years at Virgil Metcalf's and Herb Jones' Garages. In the early 1970's, Bill built his own garage and worked on cars and trucks until he retired in 1990. After retirement, Bill enjoyed mowing and working on his old tractors at the farm. He also loved spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren.

Born: September 22, 1925 in Vandalia, Missouri the son of Harvey Coons and Maggie Sue (Davis) Fox.

Married: Ruth Irene Schulze on November 24, 1928 in Vandalia; she preceded him in death on September 5, 2008.

Survivors include: three sons: Billy W. Fox of Oklahoma City; James Michael Fox Sr. and wife Debbie of Warrenton; Mark A. Fox and wife Patience of Centralia; one daughter: Becky L. Teacutter and husband Alan of Columbia; one brother, Delbert Lee Fox and wife Virginia of Moscow Mills; 14 grandchildren: Chad Hoyt and wife Trish of Wellsville; Elizabeth Esseltine of Vicksburg, Michigan; Amanda Reeves and husband Kevin of Bethany, Oklahoma; William Paul Fox and wife Jamie of Oklahoma City; James M. Fox Jr. and wife Jennifer of Bowling Green; Harley Fox of Warrenton; Trina Teacutter of Millersburg; Tegan Schmidt and husband Jeff of Washington; Tedra Kelley and husband Chad of Columbia; Trevin Teacutter of Columbia; Braxton Denny, Westley Denny, Justin Denny and Oliver Fox all of Centralia; also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; wife, Ruth; one brother, Edwin "Hank" Fox; one sister, Mildred Montegue and one great-granddaughter, Kavalyn Kelly.
