Rosalind Elaine Terry

Rosalind "Rosie" Elaine Terry, age 67, of Columbia, MO passed away at 11:27 pm Monday, February 5, 2024, at Villa at Blue Ridge Rd in Columbia, MO. 

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 1, 2024, at Elm Grove Baptist Church in Curryville, MO.  Pastor Dan Page will officiate.  Private family burial will be in the Farber Cemetery.

Rosalind was born on December 12, 1956, the daughter of Floyd Leonard and Alice Marie (Stroker) Terry.

Preceding her in death was her father, infant brother, James Palmer, infant sister, Doris Lynn, sister, Rita June, and grandparents.

Survivors include her mother Alice Marie Terry of Vandalia, MO; brothers, Floyd William Terry (Lori) of Pawnee, IL, John Palmer Terry (Margaret) of Columbia, MO; nephews, Alex, Johnny, Cody and Austin; nieces, Victoria, Isabelle, Melody; great-nephew, Enoch and numerous cousins.

Rosie was raised in rural Curryville, MO and attended Curryville Elementary School and graduated from Bowling Green High School in the class of 1975.  After graduating from high school, Rosie went on to further her education at the University of Missouri in Columbia, majoring in Agriculture and graduated with a degree in Ag Research.

Rosie worked in the Ag Research Center at the University of Missouri for several years, before becoming a full time Nanny to her brother four small children.

Rosalind was Baptized into Elm Grove Baptist Church as a teenager and was an active member of Midway Heights Baptist Church in Columbia for many years.

Rosie will be remembered as a talented artist and who loved horses, gardening, sewing, cooking and working with children.
