Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Service:

Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Officiating will be: Rev. Eldon Wilson.
Music provided by: Wayne Lynn - soloist.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vandalia.
Pallbearers: Eddie Horton, Ronnie J. Waters, Chris Waters, Travis Waters, Terry Waters and Russell Smith. Honorary pallbearers: Lee Gore, Bob Jerman, Louis Rees, James Bontz, Shannon Culwell and Durward Johnson.

Woodrow Wilson Waters passed away at 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. He was a lifelong Vandalia area resident and a member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia. Woodrow attended area schools and spent the better part of 70 years doing what he loved, farming west of Vandalia. He enjoyed attending farm sales and auctions, attending old thrasher shows and visiting with friends at the coffee shop.

Born: November 2, 1914 in rural Ralls County, Missouri the son of Edwin Keithly and Ella Clyde (Huntsman) Waters.

Married: Geneva Ruth Kirtlink; she survives.

Survivors include: two sons, Bobbie R. and wife, Diane Waters of rural Vandalia and Ronnie D. and wife, Linda M. Waters of rural Vandalia; one sister: Geraldine Pease of Bowling Green, Missouri; six grandchildren: Ronnie Joe Waters of Centralia, Missouri; Kathy Cole of Hannibal, Missouri; Chris and Denise Waters of Woodward, Oklahoma; Christine and Russell Smith of Center, Missouri; Travis and April Waters of Greenville, Illinois and Terry Waters of Vandalia; eight great-grandchildren: Katy Cole of Hannibal; Josh and Tiffany Fluitt of Woodward, Oklahoma; Kilee and Kyle Waters of Auburn, Michigan; Harley Waters of Woodward, Oklahoma; Emma and Hannah Smith of Center; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: one sister: Inez Anderson.
