Tuesday, October 4, 2005 from 1 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Service:

Tuesday, October 4, 2005 graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Cemetery in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Pastor Jeff Jordon.
Music provided by:
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.

Virginia Lee Hechler passed away at 9:15 p.m. Thursday evening, September 29, 2005 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Virginia has been a lifelong rural Ralls County, Perry and Vandalia area resident. She was a 1933 graduate of Perry High School and worked at the garment factories in Vandalia and later was a med tech and nurses aide at Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Her hobbies included fishing, crafts and ceramics.

Born: September 17, 1914 in rural Ralls County, Missouri the daughter of John and Mary (Shaw) Stuller.

Married: George Edward Hechler in Hannibal, Missouri on September 16, 1939; he survives at the home.

Survivors include: husband, George of Vandalia; one son, Michael E. Hechler of rural Vandalia, Missouri; one daughter, Carolyn M. Stillwell of Marble Falls, Texas; two sisters, Gladys Robinson of Center, Missouri and Reva Moellenbeck of St. Peters, Missouri; one grandson, Gabriel Hechler of New Orleans.

Preceded in death by: one brother, John H. Stuller.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
