Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vandalia, Missouri.
Pallbearers: Mark Hicks, Bill Hicks, Gabe Anderson, Tom Culwell, Sean Cochran and Jerry Sumrall.

Velma Inez Anderson passed away at 4:50 a.m. Sunday, February 6, 2005 at her son's home near Clark, Missouri.

Born: May 16, 1916 in Vandalia, Missouri to Edwin Keithly and Ella Clyde (Huntsman) Waters.

Married: Forrest Lee Anderson in Hannibal, Missouri on February 19, 1944; he preceded her in death on July 9, 1998.

Survivors include: two sons, Larry D. Anderson of Vandalia and Gary L. and wife, Kathryn Anderson of Clark; one daughter, Linda and husband, Bill Hicks of Vandalia; one brother, Woodrow Waters of Vandalia; one sister, Geraldine Pease of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren, Mark Hicks, Melissa Culwell, Gabe Anderson, Tammy Sumrall, Aaron Anderson, Angie Cochran and Eric Anderson; ten great-grandchildren, Pace Anderson, Joshua Cochran, Riley Culwell, Kaylen Culwell, Tesla Sumrall, Taylor Sumrall, Tara Sumrall, Krista Cochran, Jacob Anderson, Blake Cochran and Lindsey Anderson.

Preceded in death by: husband, Forrest; one son, James Edwin "Eddie" Anderson in 1965.
