Symphony Elizabeth (Dorris) Rolle passed away at 4:25 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the University Hospitals & Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. She had been a resident of the rural Vandalia and Farber area since 1988. Symphony was a high school graduate and received her bachelors degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She owned and operated a cookie company in the San Antonio, Texas area for many years before moving to the Vandalia area. Symphony taught the GED class at the Hart Vo-Tech school in Mexico for many years and had also served as a substitute teacher at Van-Far schools. She attended the First Christian Church in Vandalia and enjoyed reading, crochet and raising dogs.
Born: October 27, 1946 in Kankakee, Illinois the daughter of Shirley Raymond and Frances Marie (Bowne) Dorris.

Survivors include: one son, Daniel M. Reynolds of Farber and his girlfriend, Shannon Branham of Bowling Green.
Preceded in death by: husband and parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice.
