Service:

Friday, September 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by:
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Nathan Watson, Andrew Nitcher, Ryan Combs, Cole Combs, Seth Combs and Chris Nitcher.

Shirley Ann (Williamson) Watson passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. Shirley lived most of her adult life in the Laddonia/Vandalia area and attended Vandalia schools. After school, she worked at the Bobby Brooks and Ely Walker Garment factories in Vandalia. In 1966, she became the co-owner of Laddonia Garment Company/Leisure Wear until her retirement in 1991. Shirley was a Christian by faith and enjoyed playing bingo as a resident of Tri-County Care Center.

Born: September 13, 1939 in Hutchison, Missouri the daughter of Ray Bryan and Alpha E. (Henry) Williamson.

Married: Albert Franklin Watson on June 28, 1956 in Vandalia.

Survivors include: one son, Randall E. and wife, Helen Watson of California, Missouri; one daughter, Tammy J. Peck of Columbia, Missouri; three grandchildren: Kari Combs of California, Missouri; Nathan Watson of Blue Springs, Missouri; Andrew Nitcher of Mexico, Missouri; five great-grandchildren: Ryan Combs, Cole Combs, Seth Combs, Tavian Watson and Chase Watson.

Preceded in death by: parents; two grandchildren: Dusty Clay Nitcher and Roger Eugene Nitcher.

Memorials are encouraged to the Tri-County Care Center Resident Activity Fund, 601 N. Galloway Road, Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
