Interment will be in the Hays Creek Cemetery north of Vandalia.

Robert Dave See age 76 of rural Vandalia, died at 2:52 a.m., February 15, 2006
at the Beth Haven Nursing Center in Hannibal, Missouri. Mr. See had worked as a kiln operator for Harbison Walker Refractories in Vandalia from Oct. 3, 1955 until retiring Apr. 1, 1994. He was a lifelong Vandalia area resident and a member of the Hays Creek Baptist Church.

Born: January 31, 1930 in Perry, Missouri the son of Luther Coon and Nona May (Shaver) See.

Married: On January 29, 1949 he married Mary Fern Ledford in Vandalia; she survives.

Survivors include:two sons: Bobby and wife, Edith See of Fayette, Missouri; George and wife, Audrey See of Sante Fe; one daughter: Rebecca and husband, Randy Smith of Perry, Missouri; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: one daughter, Sandra K. See; two brothers: Floyd and Ezra See; three sisters: Georgie Davison, Anna Lou Jackson and Josephine Warren and one great-grandson, Devin See.
