Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Officiating will be: Pastor Tom Cooper.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Edward Carr, David McCurdy, Nate Kinder, William M. Coleman, William S. Coleman and Rusty Jennings Jr. Honorary pallbearers were: J. R. McCurdy, Gary McCurdy, Robert J. Loller and Jeff Brown.
Pauline May (Smith) Myers passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. She attended area schools and was a Christian by faith. Pauline had pastored in the Pentacostal church for several years over the country and was an excellent cook.
Born: July 21, 1917 in rural Pike County, Missouri the daughter of Walter and Martha (Jennings) Smith.
Married: Robert E. Myers; he preceded her in death; she then married Cleve McCurdy who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Robert L. "Bobby" Myers of Vandalia, Missouri; three grandchildren: Darin Scot Myers of Arlington, Texas; Kelly Leann Myers and Chris Myers; two great-grandchildren: Benjamin P. Myers and Eva Myers; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by: parents, one son, James L. Myers; two brothers, Virgil P. Smith and Otho Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice.
