Service:

Friday, November 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Officiating will be: Rev. Dr. Roger Thomas.
Music provided by: Barbara Elzea - pianist; Kevin Morris - soloist.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Chris Livingston, Greg Livingston and Dan Briggs.

Oma D'Arline (Cook) Livingston passed away at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at her grandson's home north of Vandalia. D'Arline was a lifelong Vandalia area resident and graduated from Vandalia High School in 1929. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia and had worked at the Vandalia Drug Store as a clerk for about 10 years prior to her retirement. D'Arline enjoyed collecting antiques and traveling.

Born: August 17, 1912 in east of Vandalia in rural Pike County, Missouri the daughter of Thomas DeCamp and Florence Estell (Maiden) Cook.

Married: Gerald Dean Livingston; he preceded her in death in 1962.

Survivors include: one son, Gerald Eugene Livingston of Vandalia, Missouri; three grandchildren: Candace L. Briggs of Carmel, Indiana; Chris J. Livingston of rural Vandalia; Gregory J. Livingston of Edwardsville, Illinois; also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Gerald; one brother, Claudie C. Cook and one sister, Lorene Witten.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the First Christian Church, 205 W. Park Street, Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
