Mary Lou Shaw, age 79, of Eufaula, AL, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia, MO.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Vandalia Cemetery.

Local arrangements are being handled by Waters Funeral Home of Vandalia, MO.

Mary Lou was born on June 24, 1946, in Mexico, MO, the daughter of the late Joseph Arnold and Emma Wilma (Kraft) Rutherford.

Survivors include her daughters, Amy Shaw Priest and Cathrine Shaw Ritter, both of Eufaula, AL; grandchildren, Hana Marie Priest, Mary Parker Priest, and Joseph T. Ritter; brother, J.A. Rutherford (Connie); sister, Linda May Waters (Ronnie); and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her husband, Terrance Eugene “Terry” Shaw.
