Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 11:30 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Brother Nathan Detmer.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Hays Creek Cemetery, north of Vandalia.
Pallbearers: Scott Smith, David See, Darin Lyle See, Kyle Smith, Darin Joe See and Danny Smith. Honorary pallbearers: Raymond Kirtlink, Dale Stewart and Jim Ledford.

Mary Fern (Ledford) See passed away at 8:20 a.m., Wednesday March 8, 2006 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital after a long illness. She was a lifelong rural Vandalia resident and attended area schools. Mary was a member of the Hays Creek Christian Church and had been a homemaker on the family farm all her adult life. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, Bluegrass music and playing many musical instruments.

Born: February 16, 1932 in rural Vandalia to William Cleo and Zella Cecil (Benn) Ledford.

Married: Robert Dave See on January 29, 1949 in Vandalia, Missouri; he preceded her in death on February 15, 2006.

Survivors include: two sons: Bobby and wife, Edith See of Fayette, Missouri; George and wife, Audrey See of Sante Fe; one daughter: Rebecca and husband, Randy Smith of Perry, Missouri; one sister, JoAnn and husband, Ronnie Henderson of Lampasas, Texas; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Robert; one sister, Zella "Tootie' Nutt and one great-grandson, Devin See.
