Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Alan James, Roger James, Marty Orf and Cory James.

Mary Darline (Rickard) Rector passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Mary attended area schools and worked for several years at the Ely Walker and Bobbie Brooks garment factories in Vandalia. When she married Jack Rector, they moved to St. Louis where she worked at several garment factories for nearly 40 years. Mary then moved back to Vandalia to be closer to family. She was a member of the Christian Church in St. Louis and her favorite hobby was cermaics.

Born: October 26, 1915 in rural Pike county, Missouri the daughter of Wiley and Dora Elizabeth (Trower) Rickard.

Married: Jack Rector; he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: several nieces and nephews, Stanley and Nona James of rural Vandalia that had been caring for Mary since moving back to the Vandalia area.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Eva M. James and Mabel F. James.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice.
