Mary E. Collier

Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Second Christian Church in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. John Harris.
Music provided by: Richard Vardeman - soloist and church choir.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Artie Wiser, Richard Collier, Jerome Collier, Donnie Chatman, Jamie Wheeler and Ricky Collier.

Mary Elizabeth Collier passed away at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. She was a lifelong Vandalia area resident, attended area schools and a long-time member of the Second Christian Church. Mary had served as an usher and sang in the church choir. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family.

Born: May 15, 1928 in Vandalia, Missouri the daughter of James and Margaret Minerva (Weir) Collier.

Married:

Survivors include: three half-brothers, Billy Collier of Columbia, Missouri; Danny Collier of Kansas City; Clinton Collier of Columbia; two sisters, Elsie Johnson of Detroit and Sheila Pittman of Columbia; eight nieces and nephews: Diana, Teresa, Jerome, Jimmy, Cindy, Zeina, Sharon, Ricky and Dicky.

Preceded in death by: parents; one brother, J. R. Collier and one sister, Nellie Tucker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Second Christian Church.
