Sunday, March 12, 2006 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Service:

Monday, March 13, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Frank Welch.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery south of Vandalia.
Pallbearers: Harold Tolar, Danny Mefford, Tim Welch, Kevin Welch, Ashley Welch, Matt Luckett, Tom Welch and Aaron Welch.

Martha Ann (Welch) Luckett passed away at 3:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Martha grew up in the rural Eolia area and worked on the family farm until moving to Vandalia in 1963. She was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilting, cooking, canning, fishing, visiting with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born: July 7, 1921 in rural Lincoln County, Missouri the daughter of Joseph Franklin and Delia Ann (Luckett) Welch.

Married: Cleve Preston Luckett in Bowling Green, Missouri on July 3, 1937; he preceded her in death on December 15, 1991.

Survivors include: one daughter, Mildred "Millie" and husband, J. C. Dowell of rural Vandalia; three grandchildren, Jim and wife, Gloria Dowell of Wellsville, Missouri; Rick Dowell of Wellsville, Missouri and Lori and husband, Mike Shaw of Middletown, Missouri; six great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Otis Luckett of Vandalia; one sister-in-law, Rosie Mefford of Vandalia; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Cleve P. Luckett; one son, Archie David Luckett; two brothers, Theodore Welch and Tommy Welch; two sisters, Mary Luckett and Rosemary Luckett.
