Friday, May 25, 2012 from 5 - 7 p.m. a time of remembering at St. John Lutheran Church in Vandalia.
Service:

Friday, May 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. a Memorial Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church.
Officiating will be: Pastor Adam Finney.

Interment of cremains will take place later.

Mark David McMorris passed away with family at his side at 6:53 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia. Mark moved to Vandalia with his family in 1972. He was a member of the 1982 Van-Far High School and a member of St. John Lutheran Church. After school, Mark worked for several years at Target Aluminum in Vandalia. He then began working in 1988 for Arrow Industries in Louisiana, Missouri and retired from there in 1999 due to his health. Mark enjoyed spending time with his three children. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and he was an avid Cardinal baseball fan.

Born: February 22, 1964 in Benson, Arizona the son of Robert Perry McMorris and Doris Marie (Liesman) McMorris.

Married:

Survivors include: father, Robert of Louisiana; mother, Doris of Vandalia; one son: Jordan McMorris of Farmington, New Mexico; two daughters: Courtney McMorris of Mexico, Missouri and Cheyenne McMorris of Jasper, Texas; one grandson: Hunter Burnett; four brothers: Steve and wife, Carol McMorris of Bowling Green; Randy McMorris of Auxvasse; James and wife, Deanna McMorris of Vandalia and Gary McMorris of Beaumont, Texas; two sisters: Barbara Majors of LaPlata, Missouri and Brenda and husband, Carl Nutt of Vandalia.

Preceded in death by: grandparents; one brother, David McMorris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the family.
