Margaret Ann "Peggy" (Hustedde) Nation passed away at 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia. Peggy grew up and attended schools in Bowling Green. She was a 1958 Bowling Green High School graduate. Peggy was Catholic by faith and lived most of her married life in the rural Vandalia area. She had worked as a seamstress at the Bobby Brooks, Cal-Jac and Leggoons garment factories in Vandalia. Peggy then started working for Green Supply and was the stock room manager. She retired in 2010 after working at Green Supply for 15 years. Peggy enjoyed playing cards, working crossword puzzles and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Born: July 9, 1940 in Louisiana, Missouri the daughter of Glennon Herman and Sadie Elizabeth (Bybee) Hustedde.
Married: Marlin R. "Marty" Nation in St. Clement on February 13, 1960.
Survivors include: husband, Marty of rural Vandalia; one son, Rick R. Nation of Vandalia; one daughter, Brenda A. and husband, Don Robson of Seward, Nebraska; one brother, Joseph and wife, Kathleen Hustedde of Bowling Green; three grandchildren: Indigo Robson and Hope Robson both of Seward, Nebraska and Kylen Nation of Vandalia.
Preceded in death by: parents.
