Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church, 214 N. Jefferson Street in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Dr. Kenneth G. Jarvis in Vandalia and Rev. Beverly Hovencamp in Washington, Iowa.
Music provided by: Joy Davis, organist.
Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa.
Pallbearers: Alan Adam, Terry Newland, Norman Heim, Eddie Babb, Rennie Davis and Ray Werner.
Marcia Jeanne (Masson) Cordry passed away at 5:10 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Marcia was a native of the Washington, Iowa area and graduated from high school there. She also graduated with a business degree from the University of Iowa in Washington. Marcia and husband, Earl started his optometric office in January 1955. She worked as his office manager and was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Vandalia, where she taught Sunday school. Marcia also served several terms as a Vandalia Alderwoman.
Born: August 25, 1927 in Washington, Iowa to Daniel Victor and Marcella (Zdarsky) Masson.
Married: Earl R. Cordry on June 19, 1954 in Washington, Iowa; he survives at the home.
Survivors include: husband, Earl R. Cordry of Vandalia; Daniel and wife, Linda Cordry of St. Louis; David and wife, Lynda Cordry of Columbia; one brother, Daniel John Masson of Green Valley, Arizona; two grandsons, Jonathon Cordry and Bryce Cordry.
Preceded in death by: parents.
