Thursday, July 5, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Service:

Friday, July 6, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Officiating will be: Pastor Sammy Lorton.
Music provided by: Wayne Zumwalt - soloist.
Interment will be in the Laddonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Gary Pease, Bruce Pease, Leon Pease, Cary Graves, Garrett Graves and Kevin Griggs.

Lois J. (Righter) Landers passed away at 6:22 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Lois attended area schools and was a longtime member of the Bible Holiness Church in Vandalia. She was a homemaker on the family farm all of her married life and enjoyed cooking and being with her family.

Born: August 1, 1924 in Vandalia the daughter of Joe Henry and Ethel Lou (Jackson) Righter.

Married: Reginald M. Landers on September 18, 1942 in Vandalia; he preceded her in death on July 19, 2002.

Survivors include: four sons, Reginald G. and wife, Kay Landers of Vandalia; Rickie D. Landers of Vandalia; Roger G. Landers of Vandalia and Aaron Keith Landers of Springfield, Missouri; four sisters, Fern Hanson of Vandalia; Gloria McKinney of Vandalia; Rheba Griggs of Vandalia and Villa Graves of Laddonia, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Quentin J. Landers of Vandalia; Carolyn Brown of Vandalia; Lisa Lynn Haglund of Burns, Minnesota; Julie M. Burnett of Vandalia; Jessica D. Landers of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Russell E. Landers of Center; Austin A. Landers of Omaha, Nebraska and Erin G. L. Landers of Springfield, Missouri; ten great-grandchildren, Chandy, Johnna, Avery, Aidan, Preston, Paiyton, Stephanie, Kyligh, Brendan and Jarrett; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: husband, Reginald on July 19, 2002; one son, Allen L. Landers in 1990.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Bible Holiness Church, 501 W. Home Street, Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
