Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: her grandsons served as the pallbearers.

Lois C. (Peterman) Hudson passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. She was a Vandalia area resident for many years. Lois retired from the Van-Far High School as a cook in the cafeteria. She was a life long member of Community of Christ Church. Lois loved her church and participated with youth camps and enjoyed cooking.

Born: December 22, 1913 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of William and Beatrice (Nelson) Peterman.

Married: Leslie Hudson on May 8, 1937; he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons: Eldon Wayne and wife, Nancy Hudson of Atwater, California; James Allen Hudson of O'Fallon, Missouri; three daughters: Rhonda Dollens of Springfield, Missouri; Jane Fanning of Bowling Green, Missouri and Ardis and husband, David Wohlbold of Bowling Green, Missouri: 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: parents, husband and an infant son.
