Interment: the Spencerburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Ethan Gooch, Raymond McCurdy, Bobby McCurdy, Seth Becker, Dick Gooch and Eddie Gooch.

Lillian Jane Gray passed away at 11:07a.m. on Tuesday, June14, 2016 at the Monroe City Manor. She was a lifelong rural Vandaliaresident and attended country schools. Lillian attended Elm Grove Baptist Church with her brothers for many years. She worked on the family farm with her two brothers and was a caregiver for them. During her years on the farm, Lillian also worked as a seamstress at the Bobby Brooks garment factory in Vandalia.

Born: August19, 1919 in rural Vandalia, Missouri the daughter of Clinton and Cordelia (McDowell) Gray.

Married:

Survivors include: several cousins, particularly Raymond and Lynn McCurdy of Monroe City who helped look after Lillian for several years.

Preceded in death by: parents; two brothers, Daniel Gray and George Gray; one sister: Lettie McCormick.

Memorials are encouraged to Monroe City Manor in care of Waters Funeral Home, P O Box 84, Vandalia, Missouri 63382-0084.
