Leta B. (McCoy) Straube passed away at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri.

Born: September 29, 1908 in rural Middletown, Missouri the daughter of Ralph G. and Kathryn P. (Barton) McCoy.

Married: Melvin Joshua Straube on September 18, 1935 in Vandalia, Missouri; he preceded her in death on April 11, 1996.

Survivors include: one daughter, Reta F. Dempsey of Vandalia; three grandchildren, Melvin Dempsey of Bowling Green, Missouri; Mike and Jan Dempsey of Mexico, Missouri; Larry and Sandy Dempsey of Rapid City, South Dakota; seven great-grandchildren: Beth, Sarah, Becky, Bradley, Josh, Jacob and Zachary; five great-great-grandchildren: Madisyn, Mathew, Jacob, Annabel and Kaeden.

Preceded in death by: parents and husband, Melvin.
