Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: Sharon Hoehn, pianist.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vandalia, Missouri.
Pallbearers: Matt Westenhaver, Michelle Westenhaver, Alan Bail, Darwyn James, Richard Oberhaus and Darrell Hoover.

Lena E. (Miller) Hoover passed away peacefully at 7:25 p.m., Wednesday March 17, 2004 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Mrs. Hoover had been a homemaker all her married life and had been a Vandalia resident since 1929. She was a charter member of Southside Baptist Church, Vandalia. She enjoyed her family and nature and her hobbies included flowers, crochet and sewing.

Born: June 15, 1903 in St. Louis, the daughter of Mitchell and Pearl (James) Miller.

Married: Estel Hoover on January 25, 1922 in Fulton; he preceded her in death on May 19, 1965.

Survivors include: two daughters, Dorothy M. James of Vandalia and Donna J. Oberhaus of Middletown; four grandchildren, Darwyn James of Quincy; Daren Westenhaver of Columbia; Donna Bail of Camdenton and Richard Oberhaus of Middletown; five great-grandchildren, Michelle Westenhaver, Matt Westenhaver, Kristin Bail, Kristopher Bail and James Bail; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: husband, Estel; two brothers, Rollie Miller and Everett Miller; two sisters, Clara Stickman and Nellie Howell; one great-grandson, Jonathan Bail.
