Service:

Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: Mike and Heather Buchanan - duet.
Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Kevin McCurdy, Lloyd McCurdy, Jeff Rucker, Mike McCurdy, Timmy McCurdy and David McCurdy. Honorary pallbearers: Bucky Jennings, Sonny McCurdy, Keith McCurdy, Wayne McCurdy and Pila Akau.

Lee Roy McCurdy passed away at 5:25 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the family's home north of Vandalia.

Born: March 25, 1933 in rural Audrain County, Missouri the son of Willie Hoy and Alice Annabelle (Fields) McCurdy.

Married: Nancy E. Jennings on October 13, 1984 in Columbia, Missouri.

Survivors include: wife, Nancy of rural Vandalia; two sons: Josh Lee McCurdy of Hannibal and Jon Roy McCurdy of rural Vandalia; five daughters: Lerona Rose McCurdy of Rensselaer, Missouri; Anita Louise McCurdy of Kingsville, Missouri; Carla Kay Klippel of Ashland, Missouri; Diane Ruth Walker of Columbia; Jessica Ann Colak of Fairfield, California; three brothers: Calvin Gene McCurdy of Perry; Charles William McCurdy and Billy Joe McCurdy both of rural Vandalia; three sisters: Lula Mae Thomas of New London; Margaret Alice Jennings of Curryville; Della Edna VonVain of Middletown; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; one daughter, Rita L. Rucker; two brothers: Francis Eugene McCurdy Sr. and Ralph Wayne McCurdy.
