LaTamara Shonique Hammers passed away unexpectedly at 10:53 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. She was a 2010 graduate of Hickman High School. After high school, Latamara worked for about three years as a cook supervisor at Lenoir Retirement Center. Most recently, she worked as a patient representative at the BJC Internal Medicine Clinic. In her free time, she enjoyed hanging out with friends, doing nails, going to concerts and singing.

Born: May 31, 1992 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Tony B. Luper and LaDawn T. Hammers.

Survivors include: parents: Tony Luper and LaDawn Hammers of Columbia; step-father, Terry Jo Holt Jr. of Columbia; three sisters: LaTara Hammers, LaTonia Hammers and Asha Davis all of Columbia; grandparents: Harold Ferguson and Geneva Ferguson both of Vandalia; Gracie Luper and James Luper Sr., both of Dallas; also survived by a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: grandfather, Joshua Overton.
