Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the First Christian Church in Vandalia.

Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Mr. Duke Duvall.
Music provided by: Carmel, Torre and Josh Rich.
Interment of his cremains will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Tyler Thurman, Gavin Thurman, Caden Breuklander, Justin Sheppard, Jon Sheppard, Steve Sheppard, Glen Hickerson, Joe Steine, Robbie Moore, Alan Moore, Jeff Moore and Corey Moore.

Larry Wayne Moore passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2009 at his home near Gazette, Missouri. Larry was a life-long Vandalia area resident and member of the Calvary Gospel Church in Summerhill, Illinois. He was a 1970 graduate of Van-Far High School and attended the University of Missouri in Columbia for over three years. After school, Larry helped his father and uncles farm north of Vandalia. He enjoyed his fellowship several nights each week at his church and also loved attending his grandson's ballgames.

Born: April 5, 1952 in rural Vandalia, Missouri the son of H. Vernon and Ruth Evelyn (Robinson) Moore.


Survivors include: father, H. Vernon Moore of rural Vandalia; one son: Andrew C. Moore of Norfolk, Virginia; one daughter: Andrea L. Thurman of Atlanta, Missouri; two brothers: Roy Moore of Vandalia; Rex and wife, Debby Moore of rural Vandalia; one sister: Deborah Moore of rural Vandalia; three grandchildren: Tyler Thurman, Gavin Thurman and Caden Breuklander.

Preceded in death by: mother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Larry's grandchildren in care of Waters Funeral Home, P O Box 84, Vandalia, Missouri 63382-0084.
