Kathleen M (Robison) Lowe, age 92, of Vandalia, MO passed away at 5:40 am Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Tri-County Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, December 10, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Philip M. Kane will officiate. Burial will be in the Vandalia Cemetery following the service.
Visitation celebrating Kathleen's life will be from 9:30 am till the time of service Friday, December 10, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rosary service at 9:15 am.
Kathleen was born on June 4, 1929, in Perry, Missouri the daughter of Wm O. and Veronica (Sullivan) Robison.
She was united in marriage to Birney E Lowe, Jr. on June 5, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wm "Bub" Robison; two sisters, Mary E Duvall, and Lucille Wilkison, her husband of 55 years; and grandson, Timothy O. Brown.
Mrs. Lowe is survived by her son, Gary (Cathy) Lowe of Clinton, MO; daughter, Donna Lowe of Vandalia, MO; grandchildren, Amanda & Anthony Littrell of Warrensburg, Andrew L. Brown of Vandalia, and Christina "Katie" Ridgeway of Columbia; and great grandchildren, Jackson and Patrick Littrell of Warrensburg.
After high school she worked several years at Vandalia State Bank, later becoming a working farm wife. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she served as president of the Altar & Rosary Society for many years; a member of Sacred Heart Parish Council & volunteered at the women's correctional facility (WERDCC) from 1988 until failing health prevented her from volunteering. Kathleen was president of the Audrain County Women's Democratic Club; served on the MO Demo Days Advisory Board for many years & received the Grass Roots Worker Award in 1988. She loved campaigning, being with friends and meeting new people.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Brown, Mickey Davis, Bob Giltner, David Hays, Robert Hays and Tex Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ron Evans, Ronnie Hays, Mike Hechler, Anthony Littrell, Tim Luebrect, Russell Osterhout and Chuck Early.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in care of Waters Funeral Home.
