June Evelyn (Graves) Alvey passed away at 5:35 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy. She grew up and attended school in the Vandalia area and was a 1974 graduate of Van-Far High School.. June lived most of her adult/married life in the Wyaconda, Missouri area. She had been a fulltime homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her husband, neighbors, and her dog, Butch.

Born: January 16, 1954 in Vandalia, Missouri the daughter of Ralph Lee and Mildred Elizabeth (Meranda) Graves.

Married: Chuck Alvey; he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sisters: Joan and husband, Roger James of St. Charles; Judy Hayes of Brashear, Missouri; two nieces: April and husband, Bob Biehl of Wentzville; Rachel and husband, Dale Hinton of Weldon Springs; two nephews: Rob and wife, Stephanie Murrell of Kirksville; Harley Hayes of Brashear.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Chuck.
