Music provided by: Marion Branstetter - soloist, Deborah Kraft - pianist.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Grandsons.

John Curry Morris passed away at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 19, 2006 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri.

Born: March 24, 1912 in Vandalia, Missouri the son of Ray Pearson and Dora Belle (Liter) Morris.

Married: Grace Elizabeth Rector in St. Charles, Missouri on July 19, 1932; she survives.

Survivors include: two sons, Robert A. and wife, Dottie Morris of rural Curryville, Missouri; Lyle R. Morris of Vandalia; one daughter, Betty J. and husband, Al Deters of Bowling Green, Missouri; eight grandchildren, John Deters of Bowling Green; Stephen Deters of St. Charles; Lois VanBoening of St. Charles; Tom Deters of Columbia, Missouri; Angela DuBach of Houston, Texas; Mark Morris who is station with the military in Turkey; Amy and Alan Morris both of Vandalia; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: an infant son, Stephen Layne Morris; one sister, Myrtle Vaught and one granddaughter, Crystal Ruth Greiner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice.
