Jamie Lyn Horton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 4:50 a.m. at his home in Vandalia. Jamie grew up and attended Vandalia schools. He was self-employed as a small engine repairman. Jamie worked and overhauled small engines for many Vandalia residents. He enjoyed listening to music and writing poetry.

Born: December 18, 1983 in Mexico, Missouri, the son of Johnny Darwin and Rebecca Dawn (Howard) Horton.

Preceded in death by: two sons: Levi Evander Horton and Jamie Jacob "J. J." Horton; grandparents.
