Visitation:
Wednesday, June 1, 2005 from 6 p.m. until the service time of 7 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Service:

Wednesday, June 1, 2005 a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Carl Lee Whitley.
Music provided by: special music.
Interment of the cremains will take place in the New Harmony Cemetery at a later date.

Jame Ronald Hansen Jr. formerly of the Curryville/Bowling Green area died unexpectedly at his home in Lawrence, Kansas on Tuesday, May 24, 2005. Jim was a 1975 graduate of Bowling Green High School and served in the U. S. Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma in 1976. He was a former resident of Minneapolis and Lebanon, Missouri. After a near fatal car crash in 2000, Jim moved to Lawrence, Kansas for his rehabilitation and physical therapy near his brother.

Born: January 25, 1957 in Louisiana, Missouri the son of James Ronald and Juanita Marie (Green) Hansen Sr.

Married:

Survivors include: his parents of rural Curryville; two daughters, Tabitha and husband, Wyatt Raeger of Troy, Missouri and Ronita L. Hansen of Savage, Minnesota; one brother, C. T. Hansen of Baldwin, Kansas and two sisters, Nellie Rose (Hansen) and husband, Wayne Seiller of Bowling Green, Missouri and Cynthia Marie (Hansen) Glascock and Tom Backer of Louisiana, Missouri; a niece, Marie Seiller of University City, Missouri and Shannon McGeorge and great-nephews, Nathan & Brad Perkins of St. Charles, Missouri, Miranda Brown of St. Charles, Missouri and Katie Backer of Louisiana, Missouri; nephews, Jeff Seiller of Chicago, Illinois; J. R. Brown of Washington, Missouri; Tyler Hansen of Baldwin, Kansas and Christopher Backer of Louisiana, Missouri; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by: grandparents, James G. and Rose Hansen; Clarence Green and Nellie Mae Green Corum.

Memorials may be made to the Rehabilitation Center in Lawrence in care of Waters Funeral Home, P O Box 84, Vandalia, Missouri 63382-0084.
