Rest in peace Uncle Jimmy. Although I didn't get to see you much during my adult life, due to my time in Europe and living outta State, I always looked up to you as a kid. You were the "cool uncle" for me. Whether you were hanging out with your friends fixing up a car to hot rod in, serving our country in the military, riding State to State on your motorcycle and stoping through Jeff City to take a break before heading out again, snatching me and Jamal up cuz we snitched to grandma about something you did that you weren't supposed to lol (my bad), or driving to Vegas randomly in a fast car with high hopes I always felt like you lived a life full of adventures and I can relate to that. You never let your tough times keep you down and you enjoyed your good times to the fullest. I'm sorry you didn't get to come hang out with me in Phoenix like we planned before you got sick...but just know you inspired me to have a diverse group of friends, to be tough even when times are difficult, and to enjoy life. You'll be missed. Please give hugs and love from all of us as well to all of our lost loved ones who greet you at heaven gates. Rest in peace Uncle Jimmy. Love ya and see you on the other side...Your nephew Steve Horton.
