Jacqueline (Johnson) Donovan passed away at 10:16 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, Missouri. She grew up and attended schools in the Vandalia area and was a 1943 Vandalia High School graduate. For several years, she worked in the fiberglass department of the boat factory in Hannibal. She also worked as a cook for several area restaurants. She enjoyed doing volunteer work for the United Way and O.A.T.S. Besides cooking, Jacqueline was an avid reader and also enjoyed cooking at the Forget-Me-Not Senior Citizen Center in New London.
Born: February 18, 1925 in Hannibal the daughter of John C. and Vernillie (Rohr) Johnson.
Married: Levi R. Johnson; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter: Sharon K. and husband, John Hasty of New London; two grandchildren: Richard and Cindy Hasty of Holt Summit; Brad and Linda Stinson of New London; four great-grandchildren: Clay Hasty, Rachel Hasty, Jonathon Hasty and Jessica Stinson.
Preceded in death by: parents; two sons: Clifford Elwood and Michael Elwood.
