Wednesday, January 4, 2006 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri; an Oddfellows service will follow visitation at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Service:

Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 201 N. Jefferson Street in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Dusty Morgan.
Music provided by:
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers:

Harvey G. Evans passed away unexpectedly with family at his side at 5:49 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at his home in Vandalia, Missouri.

Born: October 3, 1911 in Farmer, Missouri the son of James Harrison and Gertie (Henderson) Evans.

Married: Hilda Dieckmann on October 5, 1941 in Pike County, Missouri; she preceded him in death on September 29, 2000.

Survivors include: three sons: James and wife, Barbara Evans of Gambrill, Maryland; Paul and wife, Cindy Evans of Farber, Missouri and Robert and wife, Lisa Evans of Blue Springs, Missouri; one daughter, Marcella and husband, Glenn Roethemeyer of Laddonia, Missouri.

Preceded in death by: one half-sister.
