Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Marvin Jennings, Raymond Dean Jennings, Butch Jennings, Jimmy Ward, Kenny Cottrell and Craig Cottrell. Honorary pallbearers: Don Lynn and Marvin Yager.

Gladys Pearl (Jennings) Lynn passed away at 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. She had lived most all her life in the Vandalia area and attended area schools. Gladys had been a full-time homemaker on the family farm for many years. She was a Christian by faith and enjoyed quilting, gardening and mushroom hunting.

Born: March 29, 1923 in rural Shannon County, Missouri the daughter of Silas Ezra and Bessie Ann (Strain) Jennings.

Married: James Harold Lynn on October 9, 1939 in Ralls County, Missouri; he preceded her in death on March 21, 1995.

Survivors include: two sons, Wayne and wife, Juanita Lynn of rural Vandalia; Roy and wife, Mary Lou Lynn of rural Vandalia; two daughters, Martha and husband, Roy Cottrell of St. Louis; Joyce and husband, Don Ward of Centralia, Missouri; one sister, Betty Kirk of Bowling Green, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: husband, James Harold Lynn; three brothers: Thurman Jennings, Vernon Jennings and Walter Jennings; four sisters: Iceleen Lynn, Helen Pew, Delcie VonVain and Martha Jennings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Alzheimer's Association.
