Officiating will be: Pastor Jeff Jordan.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: relatives and friends of George E. Hechler.
George E. Hechler passed away at 7:55 p.m. on Sunday evening, April 2, 2006 at the Westview Nursing Home in Center, Missouri.
Born: October 28, 1916 in Vandalia, Missouri the son of John and Mary (Busch) Hechler.
Married: Virginia Lee Stuller in Hannibal on September 16, 1939; she preceded him in death on September 29, 2005.
Survivors include: one son, Michael E. Hechler of rural Vandalia, Missouri; one daughter, Carolyn M. Stillwell of Marble Falls, Texas; one grandson, Gabriel Hechler of New Orleans, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: one son, Donald Hechler, four brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
