Thursday, May 19, 2005 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Service:

Friday, May 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vandalia, Missouri.
Pallbearers: Scott Burroughs, Shawn Burroughs, Albert Beshears, Paul Thomas, Brian Dean and Wes Orf.

Francis Earl Beshears passed away at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. He was a lifelong Vandalia area resident and farmed in the area from the early 1030's to 1978. After he retired from farming in 1978, he repaired furniture at Waters Furniture Store in Vandalia until 1990. Francis enjoyed playing cards and sharing stories with friends and family.

Born: May 18, 1918 in rural Ralls County, Missouri the son of Francis Earl and Almeda Fern (Evans) Beshears.

Married: Margaret Helen Anderson on September 28, 1940 in Hannibal; she preceded him in death on January 2, 1992.

Survivors include: one son, G. Wayne Beshears of Vandalia; two daughters, Judy A. and husband, Sam Winner of Frankford and Janice G. and husband, Claudie Burroughs of rural Frankford; eight grandchildren, Lisa Winner of Farber; Sheila Thomas of Frankford; Scott Burroughs of Frankford; Sara Dean of Frankford; Shawn Burroughs of Frankford; Albert Beshears of Mexico, Missouri; Kristen Beshears of Mexico, Missouri; Ashlee Bennett of Columbia, Missouri; 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: wife, Margaret; one grandson, Leon Winner.
