Elliott “Big Gulp” Lawrence Karter Selby, 2 Months old, of Mexico, Mo passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Mexico, MO.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Waters Funeral Home of Vandalia, MO. 

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Elliott was born on Monday, August 13, 2018, in Mexico, MO, the son of Kyler Ethan Lawrence Selby and Sophie Alaina Atkinson.

Survivors include his parents, Kyler and Sophie Atkinson Selby and brother Liam Atkinson of the home; maternal grandparents, Mike and Lisa Atkinson of Farber, MO; paternal grandparents, Cheryl Culwell Pargeon of Mexico, MO and Kent Selby of Farber, MO; aunts and uncles, Nathan Pargeon (Amber), Kaitlin Atkinson, Haven Atkinson, Trey Atkinson and Josh Hodde; maternal great grandparents, Debbie and Bill Shramek and Mike and Billie Martin; paternal great grandmother, Maurine Selby; and numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Elliott was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Kim Hodde; maternal great grandfather, Gary Atkinson, paternal great grandparents, Doris and Wendell Culwell, and paternal great grandfather, Glenn Selby.

Elliott was the light of his family’s eye’s.  He was a happy little baby boy who brought joy and happiness into their life’s.  Elliott’s family was blessed with the time spent with him here on earth before his entrance to be with the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Culwell, Tom Culwell, Nathan Pargeon, Matt Shramek, Trey Atkinson, and Josh Hodde.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or The CJ Foundation for SIDS, in care of the Waters Funeral Home.
