Service:

Monday, March 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Officiating will be: Pastor Randall Kristofferson.
Music provided by: Emma Smith - vocalist; Betty Kristofferson - pianist.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Mark Branstetter, Gary Branstetter, Charles Leake, Clinton Winders, Ron Smith, Mike Couch and Glenn Heins.

Elizabeth Frances (Wilkinson) Gordon passed away at 1:08 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. She attended area schools and moved to Vandalia from the Mexico area in 1968. Frances had been a homemaker all her life and had also worked many years as a seamstress at the Albert Garment Factory in Laddonia, Missouri. She enjoyed working and spending time with family and friends.

Born: September 24, 1917 in Center, Missouri the daughter of Walter L. and Mucia B. (Gregory) Wilkinson.

Married: Hugh Franklin Gordon in Hannibal, Missouri on May 27, 1939; he preceded her in death on August 17, 1966.

Survivors include: several nieces and nephews: Clinton and Wanda Winders of Laddonia, Missouri; Gaylord and Bobbie Winders of New London, Missouri; Doris and Ron Blevins of Texas; Charles and Doris Leake of Mexico, Missouri; Kirby and Eva Leake of Perry, Missouri; Judy and Mike Couch of Center, Missouri; Ron and Emma Smith of Tipton, Missouri; Jackie and Gary Branstetter of Vandalia; Marilyn and Glenn Heins of Camp Point, Illinois; also survived by a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: husband, Hugh; five sisters: Oma Bea Thompson, Lila Mae Winders, Wilma Leake, Gertrude Boyle and Margaret Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice.
