Edna Velma (Budd) Yager died at 2:10 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2007 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital. She was a very family oriented person and self-educated. Edna was a Catholic by faith and had been active in the Altar Society for many years. She had been a homemaker all her married life and had worked at various jobs while living in the Ralls County, Missouri area. Edna had been a resident of Vandalia since 1982 and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Born: March 27, 1908 in rural Center, Missouri the daughter of Clinton Alexander and Henry Loretta (Jackson) Budd.
Married: John C. Yager in Hannibal in 1924; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Marvin Carl Yager of Vandalia; John C. Yager Jr. of Bucklin, Missouri; one daughter, Eva M. Zott of Castle Rock, Colorado; one sister, Alice Ramsower of St. Charles, Missouri; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, John C. Yager; two brothers and three sisters..
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice.
