Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Friends from Tri-County Care Center.

Edith Irene Todd passed away peacefully at 12:10 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Mrs. Todd was a Christian by faith and attended local schools and was a high school graduate. She had been a homemaker.

Born: May 5, 1914 in rural Pike County Missouri, the daughter of James Greenup and Helen (Edwards) Blackwell.

Married: Eugene F. Todd who survives in Vandalia.

Survivors include: husband, Eugene F. Todd of Vandalia; one sister-in-law, Zelma Todd of Mexico, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Friday, November 12, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.

Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Roger Thomas.
Music provided by: "How Great Thou Art" and "I Can Only Imagine".
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Tim Kurz, Brian Snodgrass, Al Wortman, Kendall Bingham, Robert Bingham and R. E. Moore. Honorary pallbearers: Fred Davis, H. E. Libby, Erwin Moore and Joe Branstetter.

Robert W. Leist passed away at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday evening, November 9, 2004 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri. He was educated in the Vandalia Public Schools and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Bob was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia and enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He had driven a bulk fuel truck for MFA Oil many years ago. Bob also had worked at Harbison Walker Refractories for several years and then became the manager of the frozen food department at the Kroger store. After health problems, Bob became the full time custodian at the First Christian Church in Vandalia, a position he held for over 25 years.

Born: May 5, 1923 in Vandalia, Missouri the son of Walker and Leora Belle (Shulse) Leist.

Married: Eva Blanche Naysmith on October 22, 1942 at the First Christian Church in Vandalia, Missouri; she preceded him in death on November 26, 2003.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sandra Chandler of Shelbina and Donna and husband, Emmett Bingham of Mexico; four grandchildren, Dena Cicero of Highland Village, Texas; Dana Richter of Foristell; Robert Bingham of Mexico and Kendall Bingham of Grandview; three great-grandchildren: Lauren Richter, Brian and Erica Cicero; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: wife, Blanche; two brothers, Raymond Leist and Henry Harp; three sisters, Alma Lea Moore, Geneva Salmons and Opal Givens..
