Edith "Edie" E. Ridgeway passed away at 9:37a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia. She was a high school graduate and Christian by faith. Edie was a full time homemaker and helped her husband, George at their jewelry store in Vandalia. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding the birds and wildlife in the neighborhood and sitting in her swing on the front porch of their home.

Born: April 18, 1920 in Laverne, Oklahoma the daughter of Edgar Ray and Elsie Martha (Stotler) Teague.

Married: George G. Ridgeway in Arnold, Missouri on June 6, 1942; he preceded her in death in 1984.

Survivors include: one son: Joe R. and wife, Debbie Ridgeway of Camdenton; one sister, Almeda Galloway of Vandalia; one granddaughter, Kate Ridgeway of Camdenton.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband, George; two brothers: Edgar R. Teague and a brother who died in infancy.
