Service:

Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by:
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
Pallbearers: Michael Vogt, Linda Vogt McBride, Justin Teague, Nathanael Vogt, Jennifer Vogt and Elizabeth McBride.

Edgar R. "Bud" Teague Jr. passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. Bud grew up and attended schools in the Laverne, Oklahoma area. He moved to Vandalia in 1940 and worked for a few years before joining the service. In February 1943, he served his country during World War II by joining the U. S. Army Air Force. He received six bronze stars for his service in Europe and the Normandy Air Offensive. Bud worked for over 30 years at Harbison Walker Refractories in Vandalia in the mold department. He retired in July 1986 and was able to spend more time enjoying his hobbies of camping and fishing.

Born: March 21, 1923 in Laverne, Oklahoma the son of Edgar Ray Sr. and Elsie Marie (Stotler) Teague.

Married: Theresa Regina Little in Mexico, Missouri on May 28, 1946.

Survivors include: wife, Theresa of Vandalia; one son, Gordon W. and wife, Paula Teague of rural Vandalia; one daughter, Regina A. and husband Floyd Vogt of rural Laddonia; two sisters: Edith Ridgeway of Vandalia and Almeda Galloway of Nashville, Illinois; three grandchildren: Michael and wife, Dee Dee Vogt of Marysville, Kansas; Linda Vogt McBride and Justin Teague of Vandalia; three great-grandchildren: Nathanael Vogt and Jennifer Vogt of Marysville; Elizabeth McBride of Vandalia.

Preceded in death by: parents and an infant brother, Elmer Teague.
