Officiating: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music: selected favorite hymns.
Interment: Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery with full military honors.
Pallbearers: Keith Pease, Darwyn Pease, Doug Storts, E. W. Branstetter, Danny Lewis and Ed Horton. Honorary pallbearers: Jerry Breneman, Virgil Watts, Bill Beatty and Marilyn Love.

Earl Wayne Henderson passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at SSM-Audrain Hospital in Mexico, Missouri. He was a lifelong Vandalia and rural Curryville area resident. Earl Wayne was a 1942 graduate from Curryville High School. After high school, Earl Wayne began working at the Curtiss Wright Aircraft Factory in St. Louis. He entered the U. S. Army Air Corps in May 1943 and served for nearly three years in the South Pacific Theatre. Upon his return, he worked on the family farm. While farming, Earl Wayne was a substitute mail carrier in Curryville for several years. He also did carpentry work with Lowell Atkinson for several years. Earl joined the Curryville Presbyterian Church. He was an accomplished steel guitar player and was a part of a local band for many years.

Born: April 16, 1924 in rural Vandalia, Missouri the son of Hugh and Edna (Atkinson) Henderson.

Married: Sue Mae Pease on August 22, 1947 in Bowling Green, Missouri; she preceded him in death on March 3, 2015.

Survivors include: many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; wife, Sue; one daughter, Janet Sue that died in infancy.
