Saturday, November 3, 2007 a graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Cemetery.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.

Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Craig Martin, Scott Martin, Merle Clifton, Donald Martin, Fred Geerlings and Averil Beshears Jr. Honorary pallbearers were: Jane Gartman and Shirley Gieselman.
Dorothy Lee Martin passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of Vandalia High School and started to work as a telephone operator at the Vandalia Phone Company for over 27 years until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of the Spencer Creek Baptist Church near Vandalia.
Born: September 16, 1930 in rural Perry, Missouri the daughter of Claude Basil and Lora Mae (Powell) Gore.
Married: William Bradley Martin on August 22, 1950 in Elsberry, Missouri; he preceded her in death on May 2, 2002.
Survivors include: her mother, Lora Mae Gore of Vandalia; one son, Rodney and wife, Muriel Martin of rural Vandalia; one sister, Dora Mae Clifton of Bowling Green; two grandsons, Craig and wife, Becky Martin of Vandalia, Missouri and Scott Martin of Vandalia; three great-grandchildren: James, April and Erin; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: father, Basil Gore; husband, Bill; one brother, Powell D. Gore.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Spencer Creek Baptist Church.
