Service:

Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri 63382.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: Cassidy Lowe - soloist; Dennis Shepherd and J. D. Mozingo - duet.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Warren Emo, Mark Utterback, Keith Utterback, Lance Buck, Todd Corwin and Mike Oberhaus. Honorary pallbearers: Danny Stuart, Tracy Bauman, J. D. Mozingo, Dennis Shepherd, Chris Lowe and Pete Schmersahl.

Della Maude (Little) Libby passed away shortly before midnight on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at her daughter's home in Centralia, Missouri. Mrs. Libby attended schools in the Whiteside area and moved to a farm with her husband Mack, shortly after they were married in 1923. She was a member of the Whiteside Presbyterian Church and in the past had been active in the PTA, while her children were in school. Mrs. Libby always put family first and enjoyed gardening and homemaking. In later years, she crocheted over 150 afghans for family and friends. Mrs. Libby was an avid Cardinal baseball fan and enjoyed watching the games on television.

Born: October 15, 1901 in Whiteside, Missouri the daughter of William and Amanda Ellen (White) Little.

Married: William McKinley "Mack" Libby on September 8, 1923 in Bowling Green; he preceded her on February 8, 1948.

Survivors include: one son: H. E. and wife, Martha Libby of rural Vandalia, Missouri; four daughters: Dorothy Emo of Belleair, Florida; Patricia Buck and her special friend Lloyd "Buddy" Prichett of Centralia, Missouri; Ginger and husband, Duane Pilliard of Montgomery City, Missouri; Wanda and husband, Bob Utterback of Paris, Missouri; also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, "Mack"; one son: Mack Henry Libby; two sisters; four brothers and son-in-law: W. R. "Babe" Emo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the donor's choice.
