Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Second Missionary Baptist Church in Vandalia.
Officiating will be: Rev. Jeffrey Mims.
Music provided by: church choir.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: family and friends.

Corrine Ella (Woods) Florence passed away at 3:05 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Corrine had lived most all her adult life in Vandalia. She had worked as a cook in Vandalia restaurants for many years. Corrine also worked at the Bobby Brooks Garment factory and at Tri-County Care Center as a nurse's aide. She was a long-time member of the Second Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed for her hobbies, fishing, camping, gardening, canning and playing cards with friends.

Born: March 7, 1928 in Keytesville, Missouri the daughter of Louis Woods and Samantha Kenny.

Married: Robert Salmons and then married to Nathaniel Florence.

Survivors include: several nephews and nieces and a host of cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a brother and sister, Lee Drew and Anna Louise.

Memorials are encouraged to the Second Missionary Baptist Church.
