Saturday, February 19, 2005, there will be no visitation; only a graveside service at Vandalia Cemetery.
Service:

Saturday, February 19, 2005, a graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Cemetery under the direction of Waters Funeral Home.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: no music will be provided.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Brian Gatewood, Boyd Laird, Roy Lynn, Dale Gatewood and Warren Bartison.

Buddy Bishop passed away at 3:05 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at the St. John's Breech Regional Medical Center in Lebanon, Missouri. Buddy was a lifelong rural Vandalia area resident and had moved recently to Christian Healthcare Nursing Home in Lebanon. Buddy had worked on the family farm all his life and in his younger years did some logging.

Born: March 13, 1932 in rural Vandalia, Missouri the son of Clarence and Opal (Sidwell) Bishop.

Married: Buddy never married.

Survivors include: two sisters, Virginia Darlene and husband, Dale Gatewood of Rockford, Illinois and Mary E. Fielder of Vandalia, Missouri.

Preceded in death by: his parents.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
