Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Farber Cemetery.

Chester R. "Burtop" Johnson passed away at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. He was a Farber High School graduate and a lifelong Farber/Vandalia area resident. "Burtop" served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and continued his career on the water by working as an engineer on a tug with the Mississippi Barge Company for over 40 years. He was a life member of Vandalia VFW Post 2173.
Born: April 17, 1918 in Perry, Missouri.
Married: Billie Earl Henry who preceded him in death on January 29, 1993.
Survivors include: three sons, Raymond and wife, Joyce Johnson of rural Vandalia; Terry and wife, Linda Johnson of Muse, Oklahoma and Garrett and wife, Sue Johnson of Kansas City; one daughter, Susan and husband, Steve Keith of Weston, Missouri; also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: wife, Billie; two brothers; Lloyd Johnson and Zeke Johnson; three sisters; Gladys McWhirt, Freida Wasson and Lillian Johnson; one grandson, Billy Johnson.
