Tuesday, July 20, 2010 graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Vandalia Cemetery.
Officiating will be: Rev. Tommy Barnhart.

Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Mary Tiller, Kevin Bushnell, Glen Jensen, A. J. Jensen, Matt Jensen and Mike Horton.

Charles McCune Kennen passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Landmark Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He attended schools in Independence and he and Geraldine moved to Laddonia in 1952. Charles farmed in the Laddonia area for many years and was known as a "farmer investor". He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing and gardening with Geraldine.

Born: October 24, 1924 in Independence, Missouri the son of Albert L. and Leta (McCune) Kennen.

Married: Geraldine Virginia Watts on May 5, 1945 in Auxvasse, Missouri; she preceded him in death on June 27, 2006.

Survivors include: one brother, Max Kennen of Laddonia, Missouri; great-niece, Sandra Traynor of Bowling Green, Missouri and grand-nephew, Richard Jennings of Warrenton, Missouri.

Preceded in death by: wife, Geraldine; two brothers, Edward Kennen and Albert Kennen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the First Baptist Church, 3rd and Maple Streets, Laddonia, Missouri 63352.
